1. Katyn
Tahun pembuatan : 2007 versi Polandia
Setting : Polandia Front Timur 1939 -1945

 
Synopsis : Film yang mengungkap pembantaian 12.000 perwira Polandia yang dilakukan oleh pihak Komunis Rusia. Ironisnya pembantaian tersebut justru dialamatkan kepada Jerman.

Tahun Pembuatan : 2015 versi Denmark
Setting : Denmark Front Barat 1940

Synopsis: Film yang menceritakan invasi Jerman ke Denmark 9 April 1940, hanya dalam hitungan jam Denmark menyerah terhadap Jerman. Dalam film ini terlihat pasukan Jerman malah disambut gembira oleh masyarakat Denmark

Setting : Stalinggrad Front Timur 1942-1943
Synopsis : Mengetengahkan duel antara penembak jitu Jerman dan penembak jitu Rusia dalam pertempuran Stalinggrad.

Setting Lokasi : Rusia Front Timur 1940
Synopsis: Mengetengahkan duel Tank antara Tank 34 Rusia dengan Panzer Tiger Jerman








5. Pearl Harbor
Tahun pembuatan : 2001 versi Amerika
Setting : Pearl Harbor, Front Asia Timur Raya
Synopsis: Rafe McCawley awalnya bersahabat dengan Danny Walker, serta memiliki kekasih seorang suster di akademi militer, yaitu Evelyn Johnson. Namun, Rafe yang terpilih untuk membantu pihak Inggris melawan pihak Jerman harus meninggalkannya.

6. Letters From Iwo Jima

Setting : Pulau Iwo Jima, Front Asia Timur Raya 1944-1945
Synopsis :The island of Iwo Jima stands between the American military force and the home islands of Japan. Therefore the Imperial Japanese Army is desperate to prevent it from falling into American hands and providing a launching point for an invasion of Japan. General Tadamichi Kuribayashi is given command of the forces on the island and sets out to prepare for the imminent attack. General Kuribayashi, however, does not favor the rigid traditional approach recommended by his subordinates, and resentment and resistance fester among his staff. In the lower echelons, a young soldier, Saigo, a poor baker in civilian life, strives with his friends to survive the harsh regime of the Japanese army itself, all the while knowing that a fierce battle looms. When the American invasion begins, both Kuribayashi and Saigo find strength, honor, courage, and horrors beyond imagination.

Synopsis: In 1945, the Marines attack twelve thousand Japaneses protecting the twenty square kilometers of the sacred Iwo Jima island in a very violent battle. When they reach the Mount Suribachi and six soldiers raise their flag on the top, the picture becomes a symbol in a post Great Depression America. The government brings the three survivors to America to raise funds for war, bringing hope to desolate people, and making the three men heroes of the war. However, the traumatized trio has difficulty dealing with the image built by their superiors, sharing the heroism with their mates.

Synopsis: Inspired by a true story. Jun Shik works for Tatsuo’s grandfather’s farm while Korea is colonized by Japan, but he has a dream to participate in Tokyo Olympics as a marathon runner. Tatsuo also aims to become a marathon runner, so the two are in rivalry. But war breaks out and they both are forced to enlist in the army. Tatsuo becomes the head of defense in Jun Shik’s unit and he devises a scheme but fails. Jun Shik and Tatsuo are captured by the Soviets. They run away but soon are captured by Germans and forced to separate. In 1944, they meet again at the shores of Normandy.

13. Saving Private Ryan

Setting lokasi : Normandia tahun 1944

Synopsis: Opening with the Allied invasion of Normandy on 6 June 1944, members of the 2nd Ranger Battalion under Cpt. Miller fight ashore to secure a beachhead. Amidst the fighting, two brothers are killed in action. Earlier in New Guinea, a third brother is KIA. Their mother, Mrs. Ryan, is to receive all three of the grave telegrams on the same day. The United States Army Chief of Staff, George C. Marshall, is given an opportunity to alleviate some of her grief when he learns of a fourth brother, Private James Ryan, and decides to send out 8 men (Cpt. Miller and select members from 2nd Rangers) to find him and bring him back home to his mother…
